The Aestiva 3000's Smart Vent ventilator has pressure and volume controls. This makes it useful for a wider range of patients, including newborns, trauma and high-risk patients, as well as routine cases.

SmartVent's gas balancing system automatically adjusts for changes in fresh gas flow, minor system leaks, changes in lung compatibility, or loss of compression.
